Who we are
This site is operated by NZT Digital (“we”, “us”), which builds messaging assistants for small businesses. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you contact us: your email address and the contents of your message.
- When you become a customer: the details needed to build and run your assistant, and to invoice you — typically your name, business, email and the information your assistant needs to do its job.
- The interactive demos on this site run entirely in your browser. Anything you type into a demo chat window stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Cookies & tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other sites. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of delivering those files.
Why we use it (legal basis)
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss building an assistant — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps to enter a contract.
- To take payment and deliver the service you ordered — performance of a contract.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this service:
- Postmark — delivering the email from our contact form to us.
- Cloudflare — hosting this website.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we’re in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, and order and payment records for as long as the law requires (typically six years for tax). When data is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or use our contact form. We respond electronically and aim to do so within one calendar month.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
